Club History

Aylesbury Men's and Ladies Hockey Clubs were formed in the late 1940s. There has generally been a close relationship between the two clubs and the two senior Clubs formally amalgamated under a single Constitution in 2001.

Junior hockey has been developed by the clubs over the last thirty years until, at the present-day, the Club provides coaching, training and competitive hockey for both boys and girls at all age groups between 6 and 18.

At the Annual General Meeting of the Club in 2008, the Club Constitution was amended and approved to fully embrace the Junior Section. As a result, Junior Section representatives, including parents, sit on all the relevant Club committees and parents of all Junior Section members have full voting rights within the Club.
