Child Welfare & Protection

The care and protection of all the young members is of paramount importance to the Club. The over-riding principles are set out in the ClubsFirst section, entitled Safeguarding & Protecting Young People in Hockey.

The Club's policy is that all Coaches and Managers, taking responsibility for young players should be CRB checked. They also are required to agree to abide by a formal Code of Conduct.

The Club's Child Protection and Equity Policies, or any of the other relevant documentation, can be viewed on the Club Website or obtained from the Club Secretary.

If any young players, parents or carers have any queries about welfare, care or protection issues they are asked to contact the Club Welfare Officer, Gill Nord.
Parents and carers are particularly requested to ensure that their children are fully aware of this fact.

In order that membership of the Club and participation in our Sport should be a rewarding and pleasurable experience for everyone, Young Players and also Parents and Carers are asked to observe their respective Codes of Conduct in The Welcome Pack which is given to all new members of the Junior Section.
