Ladies EH Vase Cup (Sunday 19th February 2012)
Aylesbury Ladies have made club history again, and have made it through to the quarter finals of the England Hockey Women's Vase Cup after beating Wokingham Ladies 7-2 in a triumphant game played at Bradfield College in Reading. The quarter finals are set to be played on Sunday 11th March 2012, against an opposition that has yet to be decided in the draw.

Jamie Oliver Night a Success!! (Saturday 26th November 2011)
We’d just like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported the club’s first ever Jamie Oliver Night! 25 of us gathered at the Clubhouse for what was a great, sociable evening.
The ‘Drink Up’ drinks dispenser proved to be a very sought after raffle prize of which the lucky winner was announced as our Club Chairman, Pridge. For someone who is currently injured, he did a very good job of running to collect this prize! Congratulations to you Pridge and we look forward to sharing a tipple from the prize with you soon.
We have raised a fantastic total of over £150 for the club from this event. So again we would like to thank those who came along and also those who helped out on the night to make this a success.

Aylesbury Ladies have made club history and are through to the third round of the England Hockey Women's Vase Cup after beating Vauxhall Chilterns Ladies 5-0 in an exciting game played at Brache Arena in Luton. The ladies have been drawn against Wokingham Ladies for the third round which is due to be played on Sunday 19th February 2012!

Aylesbury Girls U16s vs Tring Girls U16s (Sunday 20th November 2011)
The U16s Aylesbury Girls team showed great spirit and determination in their difficult match against Tring last Sunday! Despite their hard work and continuous efforts, the girls were unfortunately beaten 2-0 in a close game against the local rivals, but put on an impressive performance which saw the maturing juniors progressing well as a team.

JP Stevens Memorial Tournament
Saturday 7th May 2011
Aylesbury hosted a tournament to kick off their summer league. The tournament was held in memory of JP Stevens who sadly passed away whilst playing for Aylesbury Mens 1st XI in December 2010.

Lauren Thomas in elite England squad

Talented Aylesbury hockey youngster Lauren Thomas has been chosen for the elite England squad - the highest honour for any junior player.
Aylesbury Mens 1sts - HA Vase to Salisbury

Aylesbury Mens 1st XI have been drawn away in the last 32 of the HA Vase to Salisbury in Hampshire. The game will be played on Sunday 23rd November with push back scheduled for approximately 1pm.
Bucks Tournament - Aylesbury Return with a Bronze

In the inaugural Bucks Tournament on Saturday held at the aging Milton Keynes ground, the mens first team squad returned with a bronze medal finishing third in this county wide event. Captain Dave How was delighted, so much so he threatened at one point to use his own money to buy the team a beer on the way home - as readers know to this website something that has not been seen for many a good year.
Olympic Hockey Star Coaches Aylesbury Juniors

GB Olympic hockey star, Lisa Wooding, was in town last Thursday taking a coaching session at Aylesbury Hockey Club's newly established Junior Academy. Lisa has recently returned from the Beijing Olympics, where she was part of the GB Women's squad which just missed out on a medal. Lisa took twenty-eight juniors through an intensive session emphasising the key skills and techniques which are required to succeed at the international level.
New website

The new website is now up! It might be a little empty at the moment, but more content will be added over the coming weeks, with the latest news and happenings added throughout the season.
Ladies 2nd XI
The Ladies 2nd team has been promoted to the 3rd Division in the Five Counties Women's Hockey League.
Men's Badgers
Although the Badgers League is intended as a development league for the younger players, rather than being directly competitive, I am happy to say that this was the most successful male Badgers season for the club so far.
The league, organised by Gerrards Cross Hockey Club, consisted of seven teams:-
- Gerrards Cross
- Amersham & Chalfont
- Tring
- Eastcote
- Yateley
- Slough
- Aylesbury
Each team played each other once and I am proud to say that Aylesbury were undefeated throughout, winning three of our games and drawing the other three.
My thanks go out to all those junior players for this season, all of whom played excellently and showed continuous improvement as the games progressed - which bodes well for our senior teams as these guys get a little older. Those players were:-

Double cause for celebration for Aylesbury
THERE was double cause for celebration at Aylesbury Hockey Club recently - as the club held their annual presentation and received a prestigious award from England Hockey representatives.
