Men’s 1XI v South Berkshire

The men’s 1XI travelled to South Berkshire looking to bounce back from their previous week’s defeat.

Aylesbury started the game well and created a number of chances which soon led to the opening goal by Will Ebsworth from a short Corner. Ebsworth doubled Aylesbury lead with a tap in at the back post following good work from Jorell Pascal. Aylesbury went into half time 2 nil up.

In the second half, Aylesbury’s poor discipline and lack of finishing of chances cost them as they squandered the 2 gaol lead to let South Berkshire take a 2 all draw.

Next week, Aylesbury welcome Milton Keynes to RAF Halton in a must win game if they are to seek promotion.
