Aylesbury 2s v South Berkshire

Aylesbury welcomed South Berkshire to RAF Halton. Aylesbury were looking to gain their third win in as many games.

Aylesbury started poorly and soon found themselves 1 nil down following a well taken South Berkshire goal. Aylesbury equalised soon after with a Jim Usherwood short corner strike. Usherwood then scored a second to make the score 2-1, closely followed by a superbly taken deflection goal from youngster Christian Collins. South Berkshire did pull a goal back to make the score 3-2 at half time.

Following the half time team talk Aylesbury came out fast from the off and went 4-2 ahead following a Mike Smith short corner strike. South Berkshire did pull a further goal back to make the score 4-3 but Aylesbury held out for the win after a superb last minute save by keeper Dave Skinner. The win moved Aylesbury up to within 2 points of the promotion places.
