Aylesbury’s first team welcomed Chiswick to RAF Halton. Aylesbury started slowly and found themselves 1-0 down following a Chiswick short corner. Chiswick were playing a very physical brand of hockey and were lucky not to have a number of players sent off for poor challenges. Following the half time break, Aylesbury came out fighting and equalised through Austin Greenlee after fine work from Dan Lindars. Midfielder Oli Patterson missed a golden chance to put the hosts 2-1 up and Chiswick capitalised by scoring two late goals to leave the game 3-1 to Chiswick. Man of the match went to Ben Ireson. Aylesbury travel to league leaders Eastcote on Saturday.
