Men’s 1XI v West Hampstead

The men’s 1s remained unbeaten for the season following a hard fought 2 all draw away at West Hampstead. Aylesbury started well and were soon in front following a Will Ebsworth short corner strike. Aylesbury continued to create chances in the first half but West Hampstead scored just before half time to equalise.

In the second half, Aylesbury pressed West Hampstead but went 2-1 down to a well taken deflection by the West Hampstead forward. With time running our, Aylesbury pressed for the equaliser and in the final play of the game, Chris Hunter crossed for Andy Macintyre to put the ball in the net to give Aylesbury 1 a point and keep them at the top of the league.

Next week Aylesbury welcome South Berkshire to RAF Halton.
