Men’s 1XI v Oxford

The men’s 1s welcomed second placed Oxford to RAF Halton. Boasting a strong squad, Aylesbury were looking to extend their league at the top of the league. Aylesbury started cautiously and were lucky to not go a goal down following some fine saves from goalkeeper Tom Blowfield. After a sustained 10 minute period of pressure, Aylesbury found their feet and proceeded to dominate the game. Goals from the returning Oli Patterson gave Aylesbury the lead. Further goals from Oli Hassall, James Gilbert and Andrew Seimann gave Aylebury a 4 nil victory at half time.

Aylesbury continued in the same vain in the second half and scored a further 4 goals with a quick fire hat trick from Chris Macintyre and a goal by Jorell Pascal. Oxford did score a consolation at the end of the game but Aylesbury won emphatically 8-1.

Next week Aylesbury welcome Marlow to RAF Halton in their final game before the Christmas break.
