The men’s 1XI travelled to the always tough Banbury looking to get their campaign back on track. Despite missing a number of key players, Aylesbury started well and were unlucky to find themselves one nil down shortly into the first half. Aylesbury soon equalised with Dan Lindars scoring his first goal of the season following a well worked short corner.
Unfortunately, despite lots of pressure, Aylesbury could not take the lead and two goals further goals from Banbury left the final score 3-1 to Banbury. Aylesbury felt unlucky not to take anything from the game but there were some positive parts of the game.
On Saturday, Aylesbury travel to second placed Wycombe for a crunch game.
