Mens 2' v Thame 's

Men’s 2s were unlucky to lose to higher league opposition Thame 1st XI 4-1. The 2s dominated large periods but the visitors were very clinical and got two late goals to make the result seem very different to the game. The 2s goal came from me following a cross from Daniel Lindars that was delicately lobbed over the keeper. MoM was Doug (4th youngest member of the squad at 37 and that included Daniel John Inkley who is actually younger than that would you believe?) and DoD was Mike Smith for throwing a John McEnroe type hissy fit having given the ball away leaving a dent in the pitch. More inspirational Captaincy requires to lift the team before our first league game next week.
