Aylesbury men’s 2s welcomed Oxford Hawks to RAF Halton looking to get their first win of the season. Aylesbury put in a dominant performance against a well organised Oxford Hawks team. Despite going 1 nil down to a scrappy Hawks goal, Aylesbury equalised through Chris Hunter. Dave How then gave Aylesbury the lead only for Hawks to equalise just before half time.
In the second half Aylesbury came out firing and scored 5 further goals. Hunter ended up with 4 goals and How bagged a hat trick. Goalkeeper Simon Barnes made some good saves and the score finished 7-2 to Aylesbury.
Aylesbury travel to Henley on Saturday.
