Ladies 1s had an eventful game today against Henley 2s. We lost 2-1, the result did not reflect the game. We had really poor umpiring decisions which went against us every time, and as Woody said ‘they should have gone to Specsavers’! This also lead to the ‘shoegate’ affair, where Woody lost his shoe in the midst of a horrendous decision against us. He was so incensed with a decision, he kicked the match ball hard and lost his shoe on the pitch whilst shouting at the umpire ? ?? luckily he wasn’t carded! Beth Upton however wasn’t so lucky in the game and got given a green card.....

Our only goal was scored by Elisa Woodford who also deservedly got player of the match.

DOD today went to Lucy Robson who once again forgot her kit (this week: socks).
