ladies 1's v reading Rockets

Aylesbury ladies 1s had their first league game today against Reading Rockets. We got off to a great start by scoring a goal in the first 10 minutes from Tilly Roy (technically an own goal by the oppo tho). We were pretty awful for the rest of the first half but managed to hold them off. In the second half Ays stepped up their game and, with a bit of magic from Elisa Woodford, we scored another goal (bottom corner, nothing spectacular). Final score 2-0 against Reading ?? Player of the match Keira Forster for giving 100% throughout. Runner up Jessica Bougouneau for some incredible saves. DOD Beth Upton for being sent off (through an unfair decision, I got the ball FYI). DOD should've been Hannah Pigott & Ben Woodford for having a domestic across the pitch. Shoutout to Voirrey Holmes, happy bday. Go team woo ????
