Aylesbury Ladies 1s won their 5th league game beating Banbury 2s 4-0 at AVA today
The home team started with great intensity from the go, putting the opposition under pressure and won a PC quickly. The 1s PC training paid off and Olivia Robson converted a well rehearsed routine. Despite the fantastic start and the continuous dominance of play, Aylesbury could not further their lead in the first half.
In the second half, Aylesbury maintained their aggressiveness and got another PC awarded, which captain and POM, Hannah Pigott , put into the net. 2 goals up, the home team did not ease off and carried with the continuous attacks leading to a third goal scored by Angela Dickson . More PCs followed and Aylesbury’s fourth goal was secured by a fantastic deflection by Winnie Cole.
A special shout out to Natasha James and John Pigott who coached and managed the team whilst Ben Woodford is sunning himself abroad ?.
POM: Hannah Pigott (thoroughly deserved ?)
DOD: Beth Upton for dropping her phone down the toilet and missing the game today.
