What a dramatic turn of events for the Women's 4s on Saturday!
After going 1-0 up in the first 4mins from a short corner crack from Michelle Robertson, then Emily Bissex touching in a lovely goal from post at 15mins, then Patricia Melingui cracking in a goal right at half-time, we went into our half-time talk feeling good (but not complacent) at 3-0 up.
We then came out firing, with beautiful team play creating two more opportunities for Pat to score two more goals (yes, a hat-trick!) @ the 42nd min & 44th min mark...but at the 44th min mark the opposition Goalie dived and didn't get up...she had severely fractured her collarbone and as she wasn’t moving & in pain, the umpires called the game ‘abandoned’ and we ceased play whilst we assisted the goalie to get to hospital.
AHC were 5-0 up at that point but with the League rules we may need to replay the game at a later time...we are still waiting to hear.
Keep your fingers crossed we don’t have to, as it was a really fantastic game with both teams having just 11 players, both AHC & Bicester worked hard but we just edged it with everyone working cohesively across the pitch & just connected beautifully!
The opposition have contacted AHC to say that Kate (the GK) was seen to & is doing OK and is at home resting, thankfully.

UPDATE:
The League have accepted that with the scoreline the way it was and the amount of time played, that AHC Women's 4s have been awarded the win and the game does not need to be replayed! Fantastic result AHC Women's 4s
