Great Team Effort Against Very Strong Opposition

Well done to the U12s boys today. Premier League opposition in the form of Southgate, Tring and Amersham & Chalfont A Teams meant this wasn't going to be an easy set of games.
No wins today but the team played some great hockey at times, particularly in the last game in a narrow 1-0 defeat to Southgate.
Special mention to James Kay, some great saves in goal on his Aylesbury debut!
Team of Harry Munson, Louie Rowlands, William Foster, Xander Malone, Arthur Husbands, Ciaran Sidhu, James Kay and Matthew Munson.

Instructions

Boys -> Southgate HC (Trent Park, Snakes Lane, Barnet, EN4 0PS) @ 11am

Parking - if full, Southgate have an overflow car park. Go round the barrier and follow the arrow round to the right. Car Park 50 yards on left (please avoid parking on the grass).

All matches shall be 9 minutes each way with 3 minutes for half time, and 5 minutes between matches. This will allow approximately 15 minutes warm-up time for teams within the hour and a half pitch slot.

The current In2Hockey rules for 7 a side with Goalkeepers shall be used at all times, except as follows:
Outside the Premier and First Divisions there may be occasions when both teams lack a regular Goalkeeper (GK). In that case, if both teams agree, then the In2Hockey rules for 6 a side hockey without Goalkeepers can be used instead for that match. If the two teams do not agree, then the 7 a side In2Hockey rules must be used. Note: it may be useful if the home club has a spare GK kit available for use by a visiting club.
Note that in no circumstances can a Premier or First Division Division match be played without a Goalkeeper. In this Division a team forfeits the match if they do not have a Goalkeeper available.

Note also that the concept of ‘kicking backs’ no longer exists within the rules of hockey. If a side has no GK then they play with 7 outfield players.
